Organizing study time is very important to obtain the best possible results.on your instrument.

 

Among other things, this means that we must learn to "manage" and organize our time. Normally in Spain and Catalonia the boys who study musical instruments share their study time between homework and  some activity"extracurricular"more (and the tasks that parents normally ask for at home).

 

The teacher. instrument normally leaves a specific task (or several) each time a class is developed. That or those tasks have to be studied at home to have it prepared for the next class.

 

The tasks that the instrument teacher leaves us are to develop some specific skill (pass the bow straight, for example) or to practice some special movement (a change of position, practice a trill, learn to place the first finger).

 

It is very important that you have a suitable space at home (your room, the living room, etc.) to study; that you have easy access to your instrument;

That you have time every day to be able to practice on your instrument. It is the ideal way forward.
